Outer Reach Recordings

Roddy Hutchison has lived and breathed music for as long as he can remember. Roddy has written and performed music as a drummer, producer and DJ and has recently started DIY Record Label, 'Outer Reach Recordings', to release his own music as well as that of his joint project 'We Like Boring Things' with musician Peelee. Roddy's sound ranges from dark, introspective and atmospheric to multi-layered, uplifting and melodic through to minimalist house and techno. Roddy has a diverse, cohesive sound all his own despite these multiple elements. Roddy DJs alongside friends Woodie and Peelie at their club night 'Portals' at Squeal of Edinburgh. 

Peelee's music is difficult to define exactly so we won't bother to try. As well as her production work, Peelee is a resident DJ at Portals alongside Roddy and Woodie.

'We Like Boring Things' is a joint project with Roddy Hutchison and partner-in-crime Peelee. Debut EP 'Not Like Them' out now.

Beth from Brookside's output is quirk house par excellence. Expect home made house through to wobbly techno from this artist.
